1. Identify the installation folder * Old CentreStack is installed under c:\Program Files\Gladinet\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise * Old CentreStack for Service Provider is installed under C:\Program Files\Gladinet\Gladinet Cloud for Service Provider * Latest CentreStack is installed under C:\Program Files\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise * If you are running x64 system, the installation folder is under "c:\Program Files (x86)" 2. Backup the installation folder somewhere else. For example, for CentreStack Enterprise pkg, start Command Prompt as admin and run the command here. xcopy "c:\Program Files\Gladinet\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise" "C:\Backup\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise.528" /e /i It will backup the GCE installation folder to folder "C:\Backup\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise.528" 3. Stop Gladinet Cloud Monitoring Service. Verify GladinetCloudMonitor.exe process doesn't show in Windows Task Manager. 4. Download and unzip the upgrade package. Copy the files in the package to the installation folder, identified in step 1. Here is one example: Assume you uncompress the upgrade package to C:\temp\upgrade538\build. And the GCE installation folder is c:\Program Files\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise > Start Command Prompt as Administrator. > iisreset /stop > xcopy c:\temp\upgrade538\build "c:\Program Files\Gladinet Cloud Enterprise" /e > iisreset /start 5. Restart Gladinet Cloud Monitoring Service 6. Apply localization change (Optional) If you have modified web portal language translation under 'Languages' tab, in cluster manager, please follow the procedure below to apply the changes after upgrade. If not, you can skip it. . Login cluster manager as cluster admin . Go to Cluster Server Farm, Client Worker Nodes . Click 'Apply localization change' button for all worker nodes 7. If you have modified any files in the installation for customization, please copy the files back, from the backup folder. Before the copy, compare the two files, in case there are some new changes which you might overwrite. 8. Visit the login from web portal. The login window should show the new build number. 9. Verify web portal works. 10. If you are using windows/Mac client/Server agent, you can download the new pkg after login, and upgrade your installation.
