After having great results with the skydrive fix build for a couple of days, even working after sleep, skydrive is broken today. It's failing at the login stage. OS Win7 Ult 32, build 3.2.672.14097
Login works correctly from a web browser, and I've tried deleting both the cache and the directory cache as well as putting in my credentials again, it times out when verifying.

After one night sleep and we see that skydrive rolled out a completely new interface. Login from Skydrive web and you'll notice it. We are working on a fix and plan to deliver it asap.

Don't you just wish they'd stop messing with it and concentrate on something useful instead!! Can you recommend something else that's worth a try - need a couple of gigs for short term storage

Just want to chime in with suggestion that Gladinet needs an e-mail alert system when new updates are released.

Not sure how much free space box.net provides now.

Or you can check Amazon S3. It has been in Cloud business for a long time and the service is stable. And couple of G shouldn't cost much.

We have a private build, which works with the new interface. We are still running more tests on it. If you want, you can give it a try.

You guys definitely need an alert system of some sort.

Just a warning here. Upgrading to the private build supplied above to fix skydrive issues has caused all my cloud backups to skydrive to re-upload content. Great....

We'll take a look. One way to try is to delete the backup (I assume it is mirrored backup) task and recreate it. Make sure to select 'Skip Initial Upload' when recreate it. Gladinet will skip all the files which are already in Skydrive.

If it's not official yet, why do you put it already on the download page??? Shouldn't you also mention it's not official also on the download page?? http://www.gladinet.com/p/download_starter_direct.htm

We said here that we are still testing it. However, since the basic function works, we'd like to provide it to folks who are waiting for the skydrive access.

Thanks,

I've installed the private build, connection with Skydrive is fine, but backing up seems not working...

Where can we see when the final build is ready to download?

Greets,

Kees

What's the target folder for the backup? Build 687 has problem to upload to 'My Documents' folder. We are testing a fix for it.

It works now, my bad, the file was 0kb.. But it doesn't delete on Skydrive when I delete it from the source.. (Previous versions also didn't do this...) The option 'Deleted Mirroed File when Source File is Deleted' is set to True.

When will you expect to release a final build?

Please upgrade to the official 3.2.690 release.

ajoyner, if you still see the crash after the upgrade, try to reset Gladinet, to see whether it helps.

I agree with that and will definitely want to add it as well.

The more specific you are, the better.

I have Premium Edition v 4.0.874.19123 and it is not able to connect to Skydrive. Login failure. Manual login to live.com worked fine so it must be Gladinet/Skydrive interface. Thx.
