I am evaluating Gladinet and running the free client on Windows XP with only Windows Live Skydrive mounted. I occasionally get a popup box with the title GladinetClient that says "There is another instance of this application running" and then the Z: virtual drive disappears. Is this a known problem?

It is what it says it is.
The only time i got this was when i upgraded. I had Gladinet on start menu and newer version added itself to registry start menu.
I haven't seen it anytime after reboot. Did you just upgrade or is it a new install? Does it happen after reboot or any time?
I am sure Jerry and Gang can chime in to help you out.

I do have Gladinet in my start menu. This is a new installation. The error message doesn't happen immediately after reboot, so it doesn't seem to be a startup issue.

Try with build 151. We just released it today. It contains a fix for the problem.
