I did try that, and I got the same error. I also decided to install 1.0 on my desktop at home and it works just fine.
So, the problem is with my laptop. The strange thing is that I had Gladinet working on this laptop a month or two ago and uninstalled it because I was not using it.
I don't know what settings I changed to make it stop working.
The laptop is used at work, right? Do you have proxy there?

It is a work laptop, but I use it primarily at home. There is no proxy setup. TCP/IP settings for the network adapter are nearly identical to my desktop where Gladinet functions perfectly. The strange things is that I had Gladinet installed and working on my laptop months ago, before I uninstalled it. Two things have happened since then: Windows XP SP3 ujpdate and the latest version of Novell Client installed. (BTW, Novell Client was part of the operating system when Gladinet did work months ago.) I have administrator rights, so that should not be an issue.

Do you have VPN software, to connect to work network from home. It may interfere with Gladinet too.

From your laptop, can you access google docs or Skydrive from your internet explorer directly? When you install the private build, did you reboot your machine after uninstall the old version?

I've installed the v1.1 RC and tried all the suggestions in this thread, but I'm still unable to connect with my laptop (always gives - Failed to map drive:67).
I've got the program working on my desktop computer and both my laptop and desktop use Windows XP SP3, so I'm not sure what is different that is causing the problem. Anyone have any additional insights or suggestions?

Theere are no firewall (both use McAfee for the firewall) or proxy related differences. The only significant differences are: - the desktop is running Windows XP Media Center 2005 (SP3) while the laptop is running Windows XP Tablet 2005 (SP3) - the desktop has a wired ethernet connection while the laptop connects wirelessly

We can have a GotoMeeting session to take a look at your laptop, if you don't mind. Please email us at support@gladinet.com

Still, Gladinet refuses to work. Is it possible that it could be a bug in the software?
