My company has servers hosted at RackSpace. Using their RackConnect capability our servers can connect across RackSpace's internal network ("ServiceNet") directly to RackSpace Cloud Files. By doing this we are not charged inbound/oubound bandwidth fees by RackSpace Cloud Files, and network speeds are signficantly higher than coming across the public internet.
Does Gladinet AFS support connecting across ServiceNet to Cloud Files?
Thanks, DT

Not sure how ServiceNet works. How do you access your cloud files via ServiceNet? If you have a network drive to access via ServiceNet, you can mount it in Gladinet.

This message is from almost a year ago, but no response? I tried it out, but it seems like it is not possible yet to use Servicenet through Gladinet. It's too bad, otherwise I would buy a Professional License for all my Rackspace servers, because it would be awesome functionality if I could let my Cloud Servers talk to Cloud Files by a mounted drive!
If the developers of Gladinet are interested in supporting Rackspace over the internal network of Rackspace (hence increasing speed and negating the cost of bandwidth for Gladinet-users) it would be very simple to do.
The final generated URL of the CloudFiles API needs to be prefixed with "snet-". That's all. Unfortunately, it seems like the user has no control over the final generated URL, so there is no way to prefix it as Gladinet user.
But this could be easily added using a checkbox ("Use Servicenet"), by creating a new connection type (Rackspace CloudFiles UK/US Servicenet) or by automatically detecting if servicenet works and then using servicenet whenever it is available. It would make Gladinet a more valuable product instantly!

Thanks for the suggest. We never get any details from the original post. Will pass the information to dev team.
